Lasers- Yag laser is used primarily for posterior capsulotomy, iridotomy and YAG vitreolysis. The main benefits of this are non-surgical cutting of tissues. Bilas netralaya was first in Bihar to install the YC-1600 model yag laser. The green laser is useful for retinal condition, like diabetic retinopathy, branch vein occlusion, CSR. The main benefits of this are prevention of loss of vision due to retinal complications of several diseases.
